first published 10 July 2008

Mausam is a new magazine providing "basic information related to the climate crisis: for instance, how India's development and 'sustainable-market alternative' projects are hitting this country's people, and how people are fighting back." The inaugural issue includes articles on climate change in Uttarakhand, Orissa, West Bengal and Andhra Pradesh; the reality of biomass and wind power projects in Maharashtra; India's Climate Action Plan; the rush to jatropha in Chhatisgarh; the government's so-called plans for "energy efficiency"; and the Clean Development Mechanism in India.

Mausam is published by NESPON, NFFPFW and Nagarik Mancha.
